Prop Journal Fees: Reconcile Each Asset Before a CAD Total

A multiasset fee report can have complete original debits while its reporting-currency total is incomplete. Keep those two facts separate. The Canadian reporting context below uses supplied CAD valuations rather than assuming that every platform debit is in CAD.

Create one original-asset ledger per movement

Record unique fee IDs, signed quantities, asset identifiers and times. A label such as dollar should not merge USDT, USD andCAD without a defined relationship. Repeated exports of the same movement remain one debit.

For a fictional set, F1 debits 2 USDT, F2 debits 0.001 asset X and F3 debits 1 CAD. These quantities cannot be added into a meaningful scalar fee total before their units are reconciled. Preserve the original rows even after a reporting valuation is available.

Apply explicitly supplied reporting values

Suppose the teaching inputs value one USDT at 1.40 CAD and one X at 3,000 CAD. F1 values to 2.80 CAD, F2 to 3 CAD and F3 remains 1 CAD. Total supplied fee value is 6.80 CAD.

If the X valuation is missing, the known CAD-valued subtotal is 3.80 plus an unresolved 0.001 X debit. Do not report 3.80 as the full total or value the missing asset at zero. A reference valuation is also different from the actual cost of converting an asset.

Keep account equity definitions separate

The related resource preserves this site’s earlier multi-currency fee audit. An actual evaluation ledger needs the provider’s account currency, valuation rules and complete positions. A CAD reporting estimate should not silently replace the platform’s own equity observation.

The optional sponsored HashHedge link offers current programme conditions. No private ledger is read, no asset is converted and no fee is claimed as a real customer charge. The fictional result demonstrates a unit-preserving reconciliation, not a promised trading outcome.
